Kirk Dougherty, tenor
Tenor Kirk Doughtery has recently performed with such organizations as Tri-Cities Opera, Dell'Arte Opera, the Greenwich Choral Society, and the Missouri Civic Orchestra. He was an apprentice artist with Central City Opera in Central City, CO and is currently a resident artist at Tri-Cities Opera in Binghamton, NY. Mr. Dougherty recently appeared as Tito (La Clemenza di Tito) with Dell'Arte Opera; as Rodolfo (La Bohéme) with the Dell'Arte Opera; and as Nemorino (The Elixir of Love) with Fayetteville Opera of Fayetteville, NC. Next year, he will return to Dell'Arte Opera as Percy (Anna Bolena), and perform the role of Don Gomez de Freiro in the Bronx Opera's regional premiere of Carl Maria von Weber's Die Drei Pintos. Mr. Dougherty studied at the Eastman School of Music, earning the Master of Music degree and the Performer's Certificate in voice. He is a native of Sleepy Hollow, NY. http://kirkdougherty.com
